Why Choose Us

When the Stakes Are This High, Credentials Matter

Asbestos fibres cause mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis — diseases with no cure and a latency period of 20 to 50 years. The HSE estimates that around 5,000 people die each year in Great Britain from asbestos-related diseases. That number is not a statistic to a family who has lived through it. It is the reason every removal we carry out is treated with the same rigour, whether it is a single garage roof or a full commercial strip-out.

What happens when the wrong contractor is used

Unlicensed removal of notifiable asbestos carries an unlimited fine and up to two years' imprisonment under Regulation 8 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Beyond the legal risk, disturbing asbestos without correct containment releases fibres that contaminate the surrounding area — turning a manageable job into a costly remediation project. See our guide on UK asbestos regulations for the full legal picture.

What to look for in any asbestos contractor

HSE Licence for Notifiable Work
Only HSE-licensed contractors may remove notifiable asbestos — including sprayed coatings, lagging, and AIB. We hold a current HSE licence. Ask any contractor to show theirs.
UKATA-Certified Operatives
Every operative on our team holds current UKATA asbestos awareness and removal certification. Certification must be renewed annually — we keep records for every job.
UKAS-Accredited Laboratory Analysis
Bulk samples and air tests are only legally defensible when analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory. We use accredited labs on every job — no exceptions.
Written Consignment Notes
Under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, all asbestos waste must be accompanied by a consignment note. You receive yours as part of the job documentation.
Same-Week Availability
Renovation projects cannot wait weeks for a contractor. In most cases, we schedule surveys and removals within the same working week.

The Process

How Asbestos Removal Works

A clear, step-by-step process from your first call to final clearance. No surprises, no hidden steps.

01

Free Site Survey

We visit your property to assess the asbestos-containing materials, confirm the scope of work, and provide a written quote.

02

Abatement Plan

We prepare a method statement and risk assessment, notifying the HSE where required under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

03

Safe Removal

Our UKATA-certified team removes the asbestos-containing materials using correct containment, wetting agents, and PPE throughout.

04

Licensed Disposal

All waste is double-bagged, labelled, and transported to a licensed disposal facility. You receive a consignment note as proof.

Surveys & Testing

You Cannot Tell by Looking. That Is the Problem.

Asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were used in an estimated 3,000 different building products across the UK. Any property built or refurbished before 2000 may contain them. Chrysotile, amosite, and crocidolite fibres are invisible to the naked eye — and a material that looks like ordinary cement or textured ceiling paint can be the most hazardous type. The only way to know what you are dealing with is a professional survey followed by UKAS-accredited laboratory analysis.

Which survey do you need?

Management Survey
For occupied buildings where no work is planned

Identifies ACMs that could be disturbed during normal occupancy. Required under Regulation 4 of CAR 2012 for non-domestic premises. The output is a written asbestos register and a risk-rated management plan.

Refurbishment Survey
Before any renovation, extension, or fit-out work

A more intrusive survey that locates all ACMs in the areas to be disturbed. Mandatory before any work that will penetrate or disturb the building fabric. Skipping this step puts contractors and residents at risk.

Demolition Survey
Before full or partial demolition

The most comprehensive survey type. Covers the entire structure, including areas that are normally inaccessible. Required before any demolition work under HSG264 guidance.

Pre-Purchase Survey
Before buying a commercial or residential property

Not a legal requirement, but one of the most cost-effective surveys you can commission. Discovering ACMs after exchange of contracts shifts the full remediation cost to the buyer.

What happens after the survey?

1

You receive a written asbestos register with the location, type, and condition of every ACM found.

2

Each ACM is risk-rated. Low-risk materials in good condition are often best left undisturbed and monitored.

3

Where removal is recommended, we provide a fixed-price quote. No obligation. No pressure.

4

Post-removal, we carry out air testing to confirm clearance before the area is reoccupied.
